Showing ID To vote?

Just wondering if that is the law? I thought there was some uproar this yr maybe Ohio where they were gonna try and make it a law.

It is the law of the land now, if I'm not mistaken. Federal election law, I think.

I believe it was put in before the last election.

In TN all you need is your voter registration card.

Oh, I knew it was fairly new. Before that did you have to show any form of ID?

A voter registration card is a form of ID though.

Lol that was a stupid question on my part, but I meant like a social security card or birth certificate, not a photo ID. If it was just a voter registration card then thats pretty dumb.

I was just referencing back to burton2019s post. Its not dumb if its just a VoterID card. I believe it has to be an official document, like a Drivers license, military id or voter Id, something that links the name and address.

If you don't plan on commiting fraud and voting when your not able to then why would it be of any consequence. You know where you are going and what your going there to do how hard is it to carry an ID.
